A Deacon's responsibility is to uplift the Pastor in prayer and support.  They are also to serve the congregation and all others.  All Calvary Baptist Church Deacon's love Jesus and are humble in their duties of following God's commandments to serve people. 

Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:        James 5:14
